David Paterson is the Executive Director of the Marine Alliance for Science and Technology (MASTS). In terms of research, he directs the Sediment Ecology Research Group at the University of St Andrews and specialises in coastal ecology and biodiversity and the impacts of climate change and multiple stressors.
